As the month draws to a close we'd like to thank everyone for their support of Circle. Album sales are really picking up and we'll be putting up some numbers in the next week or so.

     Recording News - Pre-orders of the new Bedlam Bards
     CD, On the Drift: Music Inspired by Firefly and Serenity,
     are shipping now. The CD should be available through  
     CDBaby.com in the near future.  

January 30, 2006-  
Modern Bard would like to thank and congratulate Seelie Court and 3 Pints Gone on their successful charity concert, officially launching Circle. The groups managed to sell out of the CD before the show had even started AND managed to raise a combined total of over $1100 towards hurricane relief. Thanks again to these artists, and all of the artists who have contributed their music and talent to Circle. We can make a difference.

It is taking longer than usual to get the new reviews up. There are so many CD's to listen to. Two more CDs have arrived in the past few days, bringing the total backlog of new CDs to 13. We'll try to get the reviews up by the 29th.

     Recording News - Marooned has announced plans for 
     a new CD to feature the entire membership of the cast 
     both past and present. Tentatively entitled Ten Years   
     and still no %$#& Ship plans are to release the CD   
     sometime this year.

January 22, 2006 -  
The folks here at Modern Bard went off to visit the Lehigh Acres Medieval Festival this weekend. It was a wonderful chance to go and listen to some wonderful music and pick up a great number of CD's for the archive. Look for a number of new reviews to be added in the coming week.

The new year is upon us and already it is looking to be a busy year for Ren Faire Music! Lots of new recordings on the horizon and we're thrilled about all of them. We are looking forward to the release of new albums from; Bedlam Bards, Bounding Main, Djilia Phralengo, Eachdrach, Gypsy Guerilla Band, Mallory & McCall, The Muses, and Three Quarter Ale. What a great way to start out the year! Let's also not forget our featured album, Circle, containing tracks from 22 artists.
