     Performer News - Modern Bard would like to take a 
     moment to recognize Marc Gunn's accomplishment as 
     the most prolific festival artist ever. Between his  
     numerous projects (4 Irish Whiskey, Brobdinagian Bards, 
     Captain Black Jack Murphy, Ichabod, Marc Gunn & 
     the Dubliners Tabbycats) and his solo work, he has  
     released an astonishing 35 albums and EPs. This isn't  
     even including his contributions to numerous  
     compilation CDs. Congrats Marc, now take a breather!

      Recording News - Modern Bard (in conjunction with 
     the Jolly Garogers and the charity Pirates for the 
     Preservation of New Orleans Music) is proud to 
     announce the charity fund-raiser CDs, Lafitte's Return 
     volumes 1 & 2. 
    
     Proceeds from the CD will go to 
     providing musical instruments to New Orleans schools in 
     an effort to help rebuild the school music programs.
